AVCON has undertaken some of Australia’s largest (in size and value) insurance and hazardous clean-up / remedial jobs in the past 5 years.
While the majority of AVCON’s projects have been in NSW, our Victorian SKM insurance project was the largest waste insurance and fire job in the country’s history.
With a team of over 50 people, and successful completion of over 30 major hazardous clean/remedial projects in Australia in the past 5 years, AVCON’s team has seen and done it all.
We work closely with organisations such as the NSW Environmental Protection Authority (EPA), Local and State Governments, Maritime | Transport for NSW, Australian Maritime Safety Authority, Emergency Services (Fire, Police, Ambulance, SES), Port Authority of New South Wales and United Salvage (formally Ardent Global), just to name a few.

AVCON’s commitment to delivering a positive social impact
Since its inception, AVCON has had a commitment to doing more than just delivering waste cleanup, remediation and recovery services.
We have committed to supporting the communities in which our people live and work through investment into their Corporate Social Responsibility program.
Always striving to be a leader in their field, AVCON have been working with the team at Tomorrow Together since 2022 to identify how they can ensure they deliver a positive social impact, by evolving its Corporate Social Responsibility into a Social Impact Strategy.
The initial focus was to develop an Aboriginal Engagement Strategy to ensure AVCON was effectively investing in supporting Aboriginal communities in its project locations.
In 2023 the leadership of AVCON committed to developing a Social Impact Strategy, inclusive of bespoke and specific programs that will be best delivered by the AVCON team, that will be launched in early 2024.
